It was clear Arkansas basketball had all the makings of a great team after taking Michigan State and Duke down to the wire in November. The Razorbacks just had to prove it with a win.
And boy did they ever against No. 6 Louisville on Wednesday. Arkansas led by as much as 20 and never trailed in a convincing 89-80 win.
The Razorbacks were able to rough up the Cardinals inside, winning the rebounding battle 46-36 and getting to the free throw 35 times to their 18 attempts.
The more noteworthy declaration from this statement win, however, came in the backcourt.
