It took a little while for Arkansas basketball to get the car started against Memphis, but the Hogs went full throttle in the second half to bring home a 99-75 victory in its second and final exhibition clash.
The Hogs came out sluggishly, as if they’d eaten too much barbecue for dinner. The Tigers raced out of the gates to take a 29-14 lead at the 7:59 mark of the first half. Over the next 20 minutes, the Razorbacks flipped that 15-point deficit into a 15-point lead. It was utter domination after that sloppy start, with Arkansas outscoring Memphis 85-46 over the final 28 minutes of action Monday night.
