Arkansas' and Mississippi State's baseball teams continued moving in opposite directions Thursday night in Starkville, Miss.
The No. 4 Bulldogs extended their winning streak to nine games with a 7-0 victory over the Razorbacks, who suffered their 11th consecutive loss.
Mississippi State junior right-hander Dakota Hudson (9-3) pitched a complete game and handed the Razorbacks (26-27, 7-21) their first shutout this season before an announced crowd of 6,822 at Dudy Noble Field.
Arkansas last was shut out in a 10-0 loss to Florida last season in the SEC Tournament.
It was the Bulldogs' first shutout victory over Arkansas since they beat the Razorbacks 2-0 in 1992 at Starkville in the teams' first SEC game.
