Tony Brown was named the Brooklyn Nets' interim coach after head coach Lionel Hollins was fired Sunday.
The former Arkansas player has been a part of 14 NBA franchises during his career, including as a player and as an assistant coach.
He has been with the Nets since the 2014-15 season, when he joined Hollins' staff. Brown's best season as a player also came with the Nets, as he averaged 11.3 points per game in the 1986-87 season.
It isn't his first time leading a team. Brown filled in for a game for the Bucks in 2007 and a game for the Clippers in 2009.
