Life has a way of coming full-circle sometimes in unlikely ways. Arkansas cornerback Julian Neal and his older brother know plenty about that.
Both Division I student-athletes are authentic west coast boys, born and raised in the Bay Area before spending most of their college careers near the Pacific Ocean. You might assume Neal would be a fish out of water in the SEC. The steep terrain of San Francisco’s city blocks prepared him for The Hill, sure, but some culture shock would be more than understandable.
Fortunately for Julian Neal, he’s had plenty of exposure to the Natural State, starting with a trip two decades ago when he and his family visited relatives about 23 miles northeast of Conway.
