FAYETTEVILLE — Two former Arkansas football commitments from Texas plan to play their college football at Stephen F. Austin, a Football Championship Subdivision program in Nacogdoches, Texas.
Safety Myles Brooks (6-2, 190 pounds) of Pflugerville Hendrickson announced Friday his decision to join former Razorback pledge Carl Williams of Lufkin, Texas, at SFA.
The move was telegraphed somewhat by Arkansas' decision not to let Brooks sign in the Dec. 19-21 early-signing period. Brooks also never took an official visit to Arkansas.
The Razorbacks recently added a notable commitment from Mansfield, Texas, Legacy four-star defensive back Jalen Catalon.
