Razorback Head coach Dave Van Horn still has plenty of tricks up his sleeve to bring top tier talent to Fayetteville.
This time it is big time right handed pitcher, Gage Wood out of Batesville, Ark. Wood is ranked in the top 500 in the Perfect Game college baseball prospect rankings and moving up fairly quick. He brings with him a fastball up to 93 miles per hour!
The reigning Arkansas Class 5A Co-Player of the Year had a very decorated senior year which included throwing 17 strikeouts in one game this season. Wood also threw 138 strikeouts during the 2021 season for Batesville High School.
