FAYETTEVILLE — Bobby Petrino posted a message to social media Wednesday expressing gratitude for his time as the Arkansas football team’s interim head coach.

Petrino, 64, took over as the interim Sept. 28 after the firing of former coach Sam Pittman. Since his promotion, the Razorbacks are 0-6 with an average 5.7-point margin of defeat.

He is set to coach his final game as interim for Arkansas (2-9, 0-7 SEC) when it faces Missouri (7-4, 3-4) at 2:30 p.m. Saturday inside Reynolds Razorback Stadium.

"No matter how this weekend turns out, my pride in this team won't change,” Petrino wrote.
