FAYETTEVILLE — The Arkansas football recruiting landscape has been a whirlwind since Sam Pittman was fired late last month.
The Hogs’ 2026 class was already lagging behind their Southeastern Conference peers, missing out on a litany of four-star in-state prospects. With a flurry of 10 decommitments in the 10 days following the coaching change, Arkansas has plummeted to dead last in the SEC and a paltry 66th in the nation.
The Class of 2027 will provide an opportunity for the next Head Hog — whoever that is — to pick up the pieces and bring in a solid group.
