FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas coach Bret Bielema loves to eat Thanksgiving meals, but with a game set for Thursday the Razorbacks moved up their turkey day.
Bielema told his audience for his weekly radio show Wednesday night – also moved up a day – that he asked his team to show some discipline at the table earlier in the day.
“I believe in routines so we have our regular pre-game meal on Thursday and we won't change that,” Bielema said. “So we had Thanksgiving today because I do believe what a turkey over load does. I think it has an effect.
