Auburn hands Arkansas basketball its first SEC loss with 95-73 blowout

Arkansas’ hot start to SEC play disappeared Saturday night in The Jungle.

The 15th-ranked Razorbacks had no answers defensively during their 95-73 loss to Auburn at Neville Arena. The Tigers shot 56.7% (34 for 60) from the floor and were led by guard Keyshawn Hall with 30 points.

Arkansas (12-4, 2-1 SEC) had a three-game win streak snapped. Auburn (10-6, 1-2) won its first SEC game following a pair of close losses to Georgia and Texas A&M in the first week of league play.

After a back-and-forth start to the game, Auburn took control with a 15-3 run over a 3-minute, 35-second span in the first half that gave the Tigers a 31-17 lead on a pair of Keshawn Murphy free throws with 9:28 remaining in the first half.
