The Arkansas women's golf team held off Oklahoma to win the Route 66 Invitational at Cedar Ridge Country Club in Broken Arrow, Okla., on Tuesday.
The Razorbacks built a commanding 10-stroke lead after the first 36 holes, but the Sooners charged up the leaderboard in the final round to make things interesting. Arkansas shot 11-under as a team and Oklahoma finished at 8-under.
Arkansas junior Maria Jose Marin fired a 10-under to finish second behind Savannah Baker of Oklahoma, who shot 11-under.
Arkansas and Oklahoma were the only teams to shoot below par. Tulsa finished third at 17-over.
