FAYETTEVILLE — Seemingly all the ingredients for a trap game exist for the Arkansas women’s basketball team ahead of its nonconference finale.
After a six-day Christmas break, the Razorbacks (11-3) retuned to practice Friday to prepare for their last tune-up before hosting Vanderbilt on New Year’s Day in the SEC opener. But the opponent sandwiched between the break and league play is what figures to be a motivated in-state foe that should not be slept on.
Arkansas is scheduled to welcome red-hot Arkansas State for a 2 p.m. tipoff Sunday inside Bud Walton Arena. The game will be televised on SEC Network+.
