FAYETTEVILLE — Kelsi Musick didn’t love what she saw during the Arkansas women’s basketball team’s first official practice last Wednesday. But she did like what she heard after it.
The first-year coach huddled her team together and asked all 13 players what could have been better.
They piped up in popcorn-style discussion:
“Communicate better on defense.”
“Make better passes.”
“Sprint to spots in help.”
Heads nodded throughout the exercise. All agreed there were things to clean up.
