Arkansas women’s basketball never trailed during a 73-58 victory over Missouri State on Saturday at Great Southern Bank Arena in Springfield, Mo.
The Razorbacks (9-3) led by as many as 22 in the wire-to-wire win, which was their first road victory under first-year coach Kelsi Musick. They were 0-2 in away games entering Saturday, with losses at Texas Tech and SMU.
The calling card for Arkansas was its defense, as it limited the Lady Bears (7-4) to 29% shooting from the field and forced 18 turnovers. The Razorbacks were dominant on the glass with a 53-36 advantage.
