FAYETTEVILLE — For evidence of how much the Razorbacks are feeling their mounting injuries, look no further than their starting lineup for Game 1 of the Arkansas vs Texas series.
With second baseman Gabe Fraser (back) and left fielder Logan Maxwell (hamstring) out, Dave Van Horn has opted for two different routes for their replacements for Thursday’s 6 p.m. CT first pitch against the No. 1 Longhorns at Baum-Walker Stadium.
It’s not particularly shocking that Cam Kozeal slid over from first to second base to fill Fraser’s position, but it is a bit of a surprise that Reese Robinett is getting the nod over Rocco Peppi and Michael Anderson at first base.
