The two former Southwest Conference teams meetings have been dominated by Arkansas overall. The Razorbacks lead the all-time meetings 21-17 with 13-2 in Fayetteville and have won 7 of the last 8 games. As much success as Arkansas has had, this is a new year and a new challenge for the Hogs to overcome.
Houston holds the same record on the season as Arkansas with 6-1 with their only loss coming on the road at LSU. Currently, the Cougars are first in the American Athletic Conference. Mike Anderson, head coach of the Razorbacks, recognized the threat Houston poses.
