FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas was in unfamiliar territory coming into this weekend, but found its way by doing something that has become almost commonplace.
After dropping three straight SEC series for the first time since 2016, the Razorbacks pounded five home runs to overcome an early three-run deficit en route to a 13-8 win Saturday afternoon that capped an emphatic sweep of No. 1 Texas at Baum-Walker Stadium.
“Today could have been a day where they’re scoring and we’re not pitching real good and they got their guys going, but our guys wouldn’t have any of it,” Arkansas baseball coach Dave Van Horn said.
