FAYETTEVILLE — The second-fastest collegiate time in the 600 meters earned Arkansas’ Sanu Jallow-Lockhart the SEC women's runner of the week award Tuesday.

Jallow-Lockhart ran the 600 in 1 minute, 25.37 seconds last Friday at the Arkansas Invitational at Randal Tyson Track Center. Her time was just off the collegiate record of 1:25.16 set two years earlier by former Razorback Britton Wilson on the same track.

“I would say I was just a little disappointed because I didn’t hit the collegiate record, but overall I felt I did great,” Jallow-Lockhart said after the race in an interview posted to the Razorbacks’ track social media pages.
