FAYETTEVILLE — The Southwest Classic football game between Arkansas and Texas A&M is scheduled to be played at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas, again in 2021, the schools’ athletics directors said Tuesday.
In a statement posted to his Twitter account, Arkansas athletics director Hunter Yurachek said, "As a result of the ongoing (covid-19) pandemic & SEC-only schedule, all parties agreed to move the (Southwest) Classic game with A&M to campus in 2020. The current plan is for 2021 SWC game to remain in Arlington, per contract.
"We will actively (assess) future circumstances that may alter these plans.
