Arkansas jumped into the race for highly regarded junior running back J.k. Dobbins on Monday by offering a scholarship, and he's glad the Hogs did.
"Arkansas is one of the teams that still plays old-school, smash-mouth football," said Dobbins, who plays for La Grange (Texas) High School. "They still have a pro-style offense, and they're not in that Spread stuff and they run the ball. That's what I like about them, and they have produced some good backs."
Dobbins, 5-10, 195 pounds, has 12 other scholarship offers from schools that include Texas, Texas A&M, Stanford and Arizona State.
