Arkansas sprinter and wide receiver Jordan Anthony will forgo his remaining eligibility and go pro in track, he announced Saturday. He signed to run with Adidas in May.
Anthony spent one football season and two track seasons with the Razorbacks after transferring from Texas A&M and beginning his career at Kentucky.
He won the NCAA outdoor title in the 100 meters Friday in a time of 10.07 seconds, helping Arkansas to a third-place team finish in the meet. He also placed fourth in the 200 (20.01) and ran the anchor leg of Arkansas' bronze medal-winning 400 relay.
