One day removed from Arkansas’ elimination from the College World Series, Razorback fans are still trying to process how their team snatched defeat from the jaws of victory against LSU.
The Diamond Hogs took a 5-3 lead into the bottom of the ninth inning of Wednesday night’s contest and looked poised to force a winner-take-all game for a spot in the MCWS finals. Instead, through a series of unfortunate events involving multiple miscues in the infield and a slip and fall in the outfield at the very worst of times, Arkansas blew it.
