FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas first baseman Bri Ellis was named one of 10 finalists for USA Softball National Player of the Year, the organization announced Wednesday.
Ellis is joined by NiJaree Canady (Texas Tech), Karlyn Pickens (Tennessee), Lyndsey Grein (Oregon), Jordy Bahl (Nebraska), Kendra Falby (Florida), Cori McMillan (Virginia Tech), Devyn Netz (Arizona), Isa Torres (Florida State) and Jordan Woolery (UCLA) as finalists.
She is the first Arkansas player named in the award’s top 10 since Danielle Gibson in 2022.
The award only considers performance in the regular season and is not influenced by postseason play. Voting has concluded and results are announced progressively.
