FAYETTEVILLE — It will take a winner-take-all Game 3 of the NCAA Fayetteville Super Regional to determine whether Arkansas or Ole Miss makes it to the Women's College World Series for the first time.
Behind a shutout from freshman pitcher Payton Burnham, the Razorbacks defeated the Rebels 4-0 on Saturday night at Bogle Park. It forced a series-deciding game Sunday at 4 p.m.
Entering the 2025 NCAA Tournament, 80% of teams that won Game 1 of a super regional have gone on to win the series. The Razorbacks (44-13) will look to defy those odds Sunday and bounce back from a 9-7 series-opening loss Friday.
