FAYETTEVILLE — Taylor Ellsworth, an All-Big 12 performer at Texas, is transferring to Arkansas.
A catcher and utility player, Ellsworth recorded a .320 batting average, hit 25 doubles, 16 home runs and drove in 89 over 171 games with the Longhorns. She was named to the All-Big 12 first team and Big 12 All-Freshman Team in 2017.
After hitting .244 during the 2018 season and being limited, partly due to injury, to 20 games the following two seasons, Ellsworth helped guide Texas to a 43-14 record and Super Regional appearance last season.
