Arkansas soccer opens NCAA Tournament with new, different test against Dartmouth

FAYETTEVILLE — For the 10th consecutive year and the 12th time in coach Colby Hale’s 14 seasons, the Arkansas soccer team is playing at the NCAA Tournament.

The No. 5 seed Razorbacks (9-4-4,7-1-2 SEC), who begin against Dartmouth at 6 p.m. Friday at Razorback Field, enter after winning the SEC regular-season title.

“It’s not the same seed as last year,” Arkansas forward Bella Field said, “but I think that’s giving us a little more of a drive to go out and go further in the tournament.”

Arkansas was a No. 2 seed last season when it advanced to the Sweet 16 and lost to Stanford in penalties.
