FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas signee David Calabrese officially signed with the Los Angeles Angels on Thursday.
Calabrese’s signing bonus will be $744,200, according to MLB.com reporter Jim Callis. That figure is full slot value for the No. 82 overall pick.
"Excited to officially be a Los Angeles Angel!" he tweeted. "Can't wait to get started!"
An outfielder from St. Elizabeth Catholic High School in Ontario, Canada, he was considered to be one of the Razorbacks’ best position players in the 2020 class.
Calabrese is the third of the Angels’ four 2020 draft picks to agree to terms.
