Arkansas Red-White spring game closed to public due to weather forecasts

Arkansas announced Thursday that its annual Red-White spring game Saturday will be closed to the public because of weather forecasts.

Numerous forecasts have called for heavy rains and thunderstorms, with the possibility of tornadoes and flooding, in the Fayetteville, Arkansas area.

The game remains scheduled to kick off at noon CT at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium on SEC Network.

According to the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette, a school spokesperson said the game will be televised even if it’s moved into the Walker Pavilion indoor facility.

Arkansas also has cancelled its HogFest, which was scheduled from 9-11:30 a.
