Arkansas receiver Isaac TeSlaa drafted by Detroit Lions in 3rd round of NFL Draft

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has officially made it from Division II football to the NFL.

TeSlaa, who transferred to the Razorbacks in 2023 after three seasons at D2 Hillsdale (Mich.) College, was selected in the 2025 NFL Draft’s third round with 70th overall pick by his home state Detroit Lions on Friday. The Hudsonville, Mich., native was the first Arkansas player selected in this year’s draft.

He became the fourth former Razorback on the Lions’ roster, joining offensive linemen Frank Ragnow and Dan Skipper, and kicker Jake Bates.

TeSlaa became the 20th receiver drafted in Arkansas program history and the second in the last 12 years, joining Treylon Burks, who went 18th overall in 2022.
