FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas softball is ranked No. 1 in a national poll for the first time in program history.
The Razorbacks (38-11, 14-10 SEC) surpassed Oklahoma for the top spot in Softball America's poll after winning a home series over LSU during the last regular-season weekend. The Sooners lost 2 of 3 games at Florida.
Arkansas finished the regular season winning six consecutive SEC series, including five against teams ranked inside the top 10 nationally.

It is the final Softball America poll until after the Women’s College World Series, which is May 29-June 6 in Oklahoma City.
