FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football is making a change to its sideline operations for the 2025 season. Offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino will call plays from a stadium booth rather than from the field.
He will be joined by tight ends coach Morgan Turner. All other coaches will be on the field.
"That's how we're going to start," coach Sam Pittman said on the SEC coaches teleconference Wednesday. "Bobby actually approached me and felt like he could see the field better, be a better offensive coordinator up there."
In Petrino's first season back with Arkansas in 2024, he wanted to coach from the field.
