FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas second baseman Robert Moore earned Freshman All-America honors from Collegiate Baseball Newspaper on Tuesday for his play during the shortened 2020 season.
Moore batted .317 with 2 home runs, 2 doubles and 17 RBI in 16 games. He also made a handful of highlight-reel defensive plays.
He received a national player of the week award from Perfect Game after going 8-for-12 with 9 RBI in four games against Gonzaga. He also drew four walks during the series.
Moore played all of his games this year prior to his 18th birthday on March 31.
