Arkansas men's track wins 5th straight SEC outdoor title, women's team finishes 4th

The Arkansas men’s track and field team won its fifth consecutive SEC outdoor championship Saturday at the University of Kentucky Outdoor Track and Field Facility in Lexington, Ky. The women’s team finished fourth.

The Razorback men scored 98.5 points, finishing ahead of Georgia (87), Alabama (85) and Texas A&M (77). Arkansas had six individual medalists, including four title-winners, and took bronze in the 400-meter relay.

“Out of our 30 athletes, 18 have never been to an SEC meet outdoors,” men’s coach Chris Bucknam said on SEC Network+. “Our coaching staff did a hell of a job, and then we’ve got a great group of competitors from the 100 to the 10,000 and everything in between, we compete hard.
