Arkansas men's track and field qualfiies 18 athletes in 10 events for NCAA Outdoor Championships

Eighteen Arkansas men’s track and field athletes will compete in 10 events at the NCAA Outdoor Championships in Eugene, Ore., June 11-14. Thirteen Razorbacks advanced Friday at the West First Round meet in College Station, Texas, joining the four who advanced Wednesday and decathlete Marcus Weaver, who qualified at the SEC meet.

Jordan Anthony qualified in three events Friday: The 100 meters, 200 meters and the 400-meter relay.

He finished first in the 100 meters in a wind-aided 9.75 seconds.

Anthony’s time was the second-fastest collegiate time ever under all conditions and tied the fifth-fastest American time under all conditions.
