With the new NFL season underway, a litany of former Arkansas standouts took the field with their pro squads to put their talents on display.
Detroit Lions wide receiver Isaac TeSlaa has been the Pro Hog garnering the most attention after he racked up eight catches for 146 yards and three touchdowns in the preseason. The Lions lost their season opener to their rival Green Bay Packers, with TeSlaa scoring the team’s only touchdown.
The rookie’s improbable fourth-quarter grab is an early frontrunner for the best catch of the season.
Of course, TeSlaa’s professional success will always be a little bittersweet for Arkansas fans who believe the 6-foot-4 wide receiver was underutilized in the Razorback offense – understandably so.
