FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas interim coach Bobby Petrino couldn't say much about the officiating in the Razorbacks' 38-35 loss to Mississippi State on Saturday without being fined, but he said what he could.
Arkansas was called for a program record 18 penalties for 193 yards in their seventh consecutive loss.
"I do want to say something, but I can't," he said. "That's how they handcuff you. But I'll just say, watch the video."
Petrino later added: "I don't know what to say. I've never had that it in my entire life, and I do know this: If you look back at our games, we're not a highly penalized team.
