Although the Arkansas football team fell short in a 34-31 loss at No. 11 Tennessee, interim coach Bobby Petrino saw signs of improvement after reviewing Saturday’s game film.
During his news conference Monday, the coach pointed to multiple things the Razorbacks could have done better — turnovers, errors in defensive fits and mistakes in protection, to name a few. But even with those blunders, what jumped off the tape was the effort his team showed.
“It still showed up that we played extremely hard,” Petrino said. “We were very, very competitive.
