FAYETTEVILLE — At long last, the Arkansas football season has come to an end.
There was no uplifting sendoff for interim coach Bobby Petrino or the senior class. No riding into the offseason and new coaching tenure of someone to be announced.
Not this day. Not this season.
The Razorbacks’ 31-17 loss to Missouri on Saturday at Reynolds Razorback Stadium was a fitting end to a dismal season. Arkansas (2-10, 0-8 SEC) ended its year with 10 consecutive losses, tying a program record in front of a sparsely populated home crowd that was made up of a considerable amount of Tigers fans.
