FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football will be without 30-year-old receiver Monte Harrison for “a while, if not for the season” after he broke his left foot, coach Sam Pittman said Monday.
The injury happened during Saturday’s 56-14 victory over Arkansas State. According to Pro Football Focus data, Harrison played 13 offensive snaps against the Red Wolves.
Harrison, a former professional baseball player who is in his second season with the Razorbacks, has been listed second at the X receiver spot in all three of the team’s depth charts released this season.
“He's going to decide whether he wants to have that surgery or not,” Pittman said.
