Arkansas football wide receiver Ismael Cisse 'probably' out for season after wrist injury

ATLANTA — Arkansas wide receiver Ismael Cisse had surgery last Friday for torn ligaments in his wrist, which will “probably” shut him down for the 2025 season, coach Sam Pittman said Thursday.

“Did it lifting weights … and the wrist just gave way,” Pittman said to local media at SEC football media days.

The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported on July 9 that Cisse needed to undergo surgery to repair a broken wrist, per a source.

The redshirt sophomore transfer played in all 12 games for Stanford last season, making five starts. He brought in 26 receptions for 241 yards and 2 touchdowns in 2024.
