FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas is set to host an FCS safety for an official visit.
Standout redshirt sophomore safety Eric Adams is expected to arrive in Fayetteville on Thursday evening.
Adams, 6-1, 205 pounds, recorded 33 tackles, a tackle for loss, 4 interruptions and 4 pass breaks this season for North Carolina Central, a historically Black college in Durham, N.C.
He had 54 total tackles, a tackle for loss, 5 interceptions, 9 pass breakups, 2 forced fumbles and a recovered fumble in two seasons.
Several other schools are working to get a visit from Adams, who has two years of eligibility remaining.
