Arkansas football signs Christian Harrison, Braeden McAlister on second day of transfer portal

FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas has signed its first two transfers of the Ryan Silverfield era as the team's head football coach.

The Razorbacks signed Cincinnati safety Christian Harrison and Georgia State kickoff specialist Braeden McAlister on Sunday.

Harrison, 6-0 and 195 pounds, had 66 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 7 pass breakups and 1 interception this season for the Bearcats. On3 rates him the No. 17 safety in the portal.

He was rated a consensus 3-star recruit in the class of 2022. He signed with Tennessee and played three seasons there. He had 31 tackles, 3 tackles and a half sack with the Volunteers.
