FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas football’s depth at defensive tackle was already a concern before David Oke went down with an injury.
Oke, a senior transfer from Abilene Christian, has a knee injury that coach Sam Pittman said could hold him out for “a game or two.” He had been running primarily with the second-team defense during the periods of preseason practice open to reporters, but his absence means one less experienced player available in the rotation for Arkansas.
Asked on Saturday if he felt the defensive line was “a little thin” with Oke gone, Pittman said, “Hell yeah, sure do.
