FAYETTEVILLE — Cam Ball’s return to the Arkansas football team, a joint decision made by the side of his ailing father in the hospital that coaches said meant turning down a lot of money, ensured the Razorbacks would keep one of their defensive anchors from last season.
Ball, a redshirt senior, is the only returning starter on the defensive line. He started all 13 games and braved through a “messed up” elbow for the whole year. He wasn’t fully healthy in 2023 either. He reaggravated it in the second game of the 2024 season, which forced him to sport an elbow brace.
