FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas coach Sam Pittman said cornerback Kani Walker is “good” but is unsure of his recovery time. The back of Walker’s helmet collided with teammate Caleb Wooden’s knee during the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 41-35 loss at Ole Miss.
Walker gave a thumbs up while being carted off to be taken to a nearby hospital in Oxford, Miss., and the senior flew back to Fayetteville with the team. The Razorbacks (2-1, 0-1 SEC) will head that direction again on Saturday to play at Memphis (3-0).
Pittman said Jaheim Singletary, who played 14 snaps to Walker’s 59, would have to take the most reps in practice because “I don’t know whether [Walker] will be able to play or not right now.
