FAYETTEVILLE — Arkansas second-year offensive coordinator Bobby Petrino said the Razorbacks’ running backs looked sharp and top quarterbacks Taylen Green and KJ Jackson had good days in last Saturday’s scrimmage.
“Our quarterbacks did a good job on decision-making and distributing the ball,” he said. “Threw for a very, very high percentage.”
Green completed 60.4% of his passes (230 of 381) in his first year in the Petrino system last season while generating 3,756 yards, the second-highest single-season total at Arkansas.
Petrino said he thinks those numbers can improve.
“The best thing I saw from Taylen was his technique on his release,” Petrino said.
