FAYETTEVILLE — Monte Harrison began his college football career with some rust on his gridiron skills.
“I needed more than WD-40 to be able to get through it,” he said.
The Arkansas football sophomore wide receiver, who will celebrate his 30th birthday Sunday, dusted off his pads last fall and returned to the sport after a decade away.
He was originally committed to play baseball and football at Nebraska out of high school but was selected in the second round of the 2014 MLB Draft by the Milwaukee Brewers and played professional baseball until 2023.
