FAYETTEVILLE — Notre Dame bullied the Arkansas football team on both sides of the ball Saturday.
The 22nd-ranked Fighting Irish led 42-13 at halftime and won 56-13 in front of an announced attendance of 75,111 at Reynolds Razorback Stadium.
The 10th-largest crowd in stadium history saw the Razorbacks lose by their eighth-largest margin at home. It was Arkansas’ most lopsided home loss since a 52-3 win by Alabama in 2020.
Notre Dame (2-2) won its second consecutive game to steady a season that began with close losses to top 10 teams. The Fighting Irish have won by a combined 112-43 over Purdue and Arkansas since those season-opening losses to Miami and Texas A&M by a combined score of 68-64.
