FAYETTEVILLE —Arkansas secured a second commitment from Ridge Point High School with the pledge of offensive lineman Hugh Smith on Wednesday.
Smith, 6-5 and 300 pounds, of Missouri City (Texas) Ridge Point announced his commitment to the Razorbacks over offers from Missouri, Ole Miss, Oklahoma State, Arizona State, Stanford, Kansas State, Vanderbilt, Kansas, Boston College and others.
He attended an Arkansas Junior Day in January and visited Fayetteville for a couple of days in March for a spring practice.
Smith’s teammate, receiver Robert Haynes IV, committed to Arkansas on April 29.
